WHAT IN THE WORLD...

The NY Giants just beat the NE Patriots
and we are almost done making this record in 3 days!!!

Today was a couple cold songs, and then just some overdubs before lunch. (It's all starting to blur in my memory, but i think we did Lord, Lord, Lord, and then The Money's Tight.) Then the amazing Jim Crew had to leave us, so we just did a bunch of vocal overdubs (lead on Will Henry, and What they don't tell you - and b/g vocals on Money's Tight, Come home baby now, Fifty Fingers, and Throw Down) WOW folks, all i can say is what PeeWee said this morning, at our get-started pep-talk: "I thought this recording was going to be good, but it's going to be better than I thought it would be."
I think i can safely say that we all feel that way.

It's almost unbelievable. And in just 3 days.

We owe it all to us for rehearsing, John Plymale, Jim Crew and Scott Miller for being amazing at what they do. We plan to leave the studio tomorrow w/ rough mixes of everything!!! And spend a few weeks w/ it and see what needs to change, if anything, and get a better idea of how final mixes should be, and track order and all that stuff. Then we go back into the studio w/ John for a weekend of mixing. Then mastering, pressing, and Release SHOW!!!
